DMCA & Copyright Notice
Last Updated: March 2026
1. Our Position
SnapLoad is a tool that enables users to download publicly available media from social media platforms. We do not host, store, cache, or redistribute any third-party content on our servers. All media is fetched directly from the original platform in response to a user's request and delivered directly to the user's device.
SnapLoad functions similarly to a web browser -- it accesses content that is already publicly available on the internet. We respect intellectual property rights and are committed to responding to legitimate copyright concerns.
2. Copyright Compliance
We take copyright infringement seriously. While SnapLoad does not host content, we recognize our responsibility to cooperate with rights holders and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and similar international copyright laws. If we receive a valid takedown notice regarding specific functionality that facilitates access to infringing content, we will take appropriate action.
3. Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent and believe that content accessible through SnapLoad infringes your copyright, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent. Your notice must include the following information:
- Identification of the copyrighted work: A clear description of the copyrighted work you believe is being infringed, including the title and any registration numbers if available.
- Infringing URL: The specific URL(s) on the original platform where the allegedly infringing content is located, as well as any relevant SnapLoad URLs.
- Your contact information: Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address so we can contact you regarding your notice.
- Good faith statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy statement: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
Send your DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent at: dmca@snapload.net
4. Counter-Notification Process
If you believe that content was removed or access was disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:
- Your full name, address, phone number, and email address.
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original DMCA notice.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days, we may restore access to the affected functionality.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA, SnapLoad maintains a policy of terminating access for users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We reserve the right to block IP addresses or take other measures against users who repeatedly use the Service to access copyrighted material without authorization.
