Privacy Policy
Last Updated: March 2026
1. Introduction
SnapLoad ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. We designed SnapLoad with privacy in mind -- no accounts, no tracking, and minimal data collection.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate and protect the Service:
- Server Logs: When you use SnapLoad, our servers automatically record basic connection data including your IP address, timestamp, requested URL, and HTTP status code. These logs are used exclusively for security monitoring and abuse prevention.
- URLs You Submit: The video URLs you paste into SnapLoad are processed in real-time to fetch the requested content. We do not permanently store the URLs you submit.
All server logs are automatically deleted after 7 days.
3. Information We Do NOT Collect
We want to be clear about what we do not do:
- We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information.
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifiers.
- We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising purposes.
- We do not build user profiles or track your browsing behavior across the web.
- We do not sell, trade, or rent any data to third parties.
- We do not use analytics tools that track individual users.
4. How We Use Information
The limited information we collect is used solely for:
- Service Operation: Processing your download requests and delivering the requested content.
- Abuse Prevention: Detecting and blocking automated abuse, excessive requests, or malicious activity that could degrade the Service for other users.
- Security: Protecting the Service infrastructure from attacks and unauthorized access.
5. Third-Party Services
We use Cloudflare as our content delivery network (CDN) and security provider. Cloudflare may process certain connection data (such as your IP address) in accordance with their own privacy policy to provide DDoS protection and performance optimization. We encourage you to review Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details on their data handling practices.
We do not use any other third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
6. Data Retention
Server logs containing IP addresses and timestamps are automatically deleted after 7 days. We do not maintain long-term records of your activity. Submitted URLs are processed in real-time and are not stored after the download is complete.
7. Your Rights
Regardless of where you are located, we respect your data rights. Under regulations such as the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of any data we hold about you.
- Deletion: Request that we delete any data associated with you.
- Portability: Request your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Objection: Object to any processing of your data.
Since we collect minimal data and retain it for only 7 days, in most cases there will be no data to provide. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@snapload.net.
8. Children's Privacy
SnapLoad is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we do not require accounts or collect personal data, it is unlikely that we would possess any information about minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal and regulatory reasons. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
